More pictures of the French side.

This picture is from Aiguille De Midi looking towards the western side of Chamonix.

That is a glacier in the lower left corner.

This picture looks from Aiguille De Midi to the west into France.

This is what feeds the glacier pictured above.

Still looking to the west, this is the peak of Mont-Blanc from Midi.

This side of the mountain seems to have a lot of snow cover. Maybe because it is the north side of the mountain has something to do with it.
You will see the difference when you get to the Italian side pictures.

This is looking to the east from Midi. This view is looking into Switzerland and northern Italy. One of the mountains in the distance is the Matterhorn.
This is a view from Midi to the south east. This looks over the snow and ice fields of Mont-Blanc. Where the wall of snow ends is where it drops into the valley in Italy.

The next page takes us across from the French to the Italian side.
